As an ophthalmologist and eye surgeon, I meet many different people every day whose lives I can ease with treatments or surgery — and sometimes simply by listening. I always look for the best individual solution for each patient’s eyes. My areas of special expertise include cataract, corneal diseases, and lens and laser surgery.

I work as an ophthalmologist at Silmäsairaala Valo in Helsinki and Kouvola, as well as at several Instrumentarium and Nissen locations.

My family includes my spouse, four children, and a dog. I play floorball, ice hockey, and tennis, go to the gym, play golf, ski, and snowboard.
